Cruisic初のリリースとなる”Jazz Carnival”はブラジルのジャズ・ファンクトリオAzymuthによるブラジリアン・フュージョンの定番ともいえるナンバーをミディアムテンポにアレンジし、ダンスミュージックとしてサンバとジャズの交点に着地させたカバー。
エレクトロニカとサンバが融合したトラックに、コズミックなキーボードとハードにブロウするサックスをフィーチャー、 1970年代クロスオーバーの熱気と現代ジャズのクールが同居する。
The first release of Cruisic “Jazz Carnival” is a cover that Brazilian jazz and funk trio Azymuth arranged as a staple of Brazilian fusion staple at medium tempo and landed at the intersection of samba and jazz as dance music.
Featuring a cosmic keyboard and a saxophone that blows hard in the track where electronica and samba merge, the heat of the crossover in the 1970s and the coolness of contemporary jazz live together.
